Financial protection for school trips
School tours value all the way
You’ll have financial protection from the moment you book your school trip to your safe return with NST because we are fully protected through ABTA and ATOL, and are licensed by IATA too.
Booking with a school travel company is the best way for you to protect parents’ money and give yourself peace of mind. Don’t forget – if you book your educational tour direct with the airline, you may not be covered.
ABTA
NST is a fully protected member of the Association of British Travel Agents, the UK’s biggest travel trade association. Our membership number is ABTA V0550, and you can check our membership details by visiting ABTA.
ATOL
The Civil Aviation Authority says: “It is important for schools to appreciate the protection they have under ATOL and ensure that they insist on ATOL protection every time they book.”
Some of the flights and flight-inclusive trips on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all trips and travel services on this website. This website will provide you with information on the protection that applies in the case of each trip and travel service offered before you make your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. Please see our booking conditions for information, or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: www.caa.co.uk. Guidance specifically for schools and colleges can be found here https://www.atol.org/about-atol/guidance-for-the-education-sector/
NST is licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority under Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing (ATOL), the protection scheme for air holidays and flights. Our license number is 3606 and you can check our details by visiting ATOL.
IATA
NST is licensed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), an international trade body created over 60 years ago by a group of airlines. IATA represents, leads and serves the airline industry in general and has developed the commercial standards that built this global industry.
