The home of Valencia Football Club is one of the oldest stadiums in Spain. Your tour guide will share insights into Valencia's illustrious past, with access to areas normally reserved for players and officials. See the press room and the players’ dressing room, and walk the tunnel to the roar of a capacity crowd. This is a visit for everyone and anyone, from all corners of the world.
Las Fallas is a popular fiesta, which has been celebrated since the middle of the 18th century. The Fallas Museum is made up of a large collection of puppets, posters and other memorabilia from the festival.
Situated south of the city, Albufera is a wetland area that is home to the largest lake in Spain, and is famous for its rice production. Chaperoned by a rice farmer, your group will hear about the history and significance of rice in Albufera, and you will also learn about how the rice is cultivated. Groups will enjoy a boat trip to admire the beautiful scenery and wildlife on the lake. The boat will take you to El Palmar where you can enjoy eating the Valencian Paella in one of its traditional restaurants specialising in the local cuisine.
Oceanographic of Valencia is the biggest aquarium in Europe. Situated inside the architectural complex of the City of the Arts and Sciences, Oceanographic is made up of different buildings, housing examples of the most important ecosystems from each of the planet's seas and oceans.
The Serranos Towers are considered to be the largest Gothic city gateway in all of Europe. They provisionally housed prison cells and served as a triumphal arch on many festive and solemn occasions. You can enjoy splendid views of the city and the river Turia from its terraces.
A lot of historic buildings in Valencia have beautiful doors, but the grand prize must go to the marble entryway of the Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas. This palace is among the top sights in Valencia, having been fully restored and retaining much of its original furniture and decoration.
Spend a day underground in this river cruise with a difference. Sail down the longest navigable underground river in Europe as you admire amazing rock formations, stalagmites and stalactites. Sit back, relax and go with the flow as you enjoy this fun and different way to visit this beautiful cave system.
The Príncipe Felipe Science Museum has become a world reference point for interactive science and one of the most visited destinations in Valencia. Its main objective is stimulating curiosity and critical thinking and at the same time surprising and amusing the public by its contents from the world of science, technology, and the environment. Educational workshops are also available at the Science Museum.
Groups will receive an educational tour of the groves to learn about how the oranges are grown and cultivated. They will then get the chance to pick their own oranges and mandarins in order to make their own fresh orange juice!
Valencia Cathedral sits at the heart of the old town of Valencia, in an area called El Carmen. The cathedral has beautiful architecture to admire, and your visit includes an audio tour, available in English, for you to fully appreciate and learn about this fascinating building.
Visit the central market and be surrounded by the sights, smells and sounds of a typical Spanish market. Practise language skills with the stall holders, and soak up the Spanish culture in this beautiful building.
Take a self guided walk through Valencia Old Town and soak up the traditional Valencian atmosphere, whilst exploring the ancient streets and gothic architecture. This half day activity showcases the classical sites of Valencia Old Town and gives students a great introduction to the city. Marvel in the beautiful architecture and picturesque streets. Possible sites of interest may include; Serranos Towers, Plaza de la Virgen, external viewing of the Valencia Cathedral, external viewing of the Torre del Miguelete, Plaza de la Reina.
Just 15 minutes away from the centre of Valencia, which is privileged to be both a city and a beach destination, you'll find the beaches of Las Arenas, Malvarrosa and El Cabañal – Blue Flag beaches that are renowned for their beauty. The Turia Gardens is one of the largest urban parks in Spain. It runs through the city along nine kilometres of green space boasting foot paths, leisure and sports areas. From Cabecera Park to the City of Arts and Sciences, the Turia Gardens are the perfect place for groups to spend some free time. Crossed by 18 bridges full of history, the former riverbed passes by the city's main museums and monuments on either bank. The vast gardens are built on the former riverbed of the Turia, whose course was altered to prevent constant flooding in the city.
The new Bioparc in Valencia opened its doors on in 2008. This innovative zoo covers 100,000 square metres and is located in the Parque de Cabecera. Contrary to traditional zoos, this park has the unique feature of bringing the visitor totally into the habitat of the animals. Leopards, lemurs, hyenas, lions, giraffes, gorillas, rhinoceroses, hippopotamuses, porcupines, ostriches, elephants, otters… all coexist in this zoological world. Educational workshops are also available at the Bioparc.

Valencia is famous for its paella! This interactive workshop starts with a visit to Algiros Market to look at the ingredients needed to make the paella. You will then return to the kitchen to don your chef's hat and apron and learn how this typical Valencian dish is made. Groups will make their paella, under the supervision of a paella maestro who will speak to your group in Spanish or English, or a mixture of both, depending on your language learning requirements. You then get to eat your delicious paella.
Manises is famous for its ceramics. Groups can experience a guided tour of a pottery factory and learn about the heritage of the pottery, and what it takes to create and decorate these beautiful ceramics. You can also take part in a pottery workshop and take home your creation!
