Musée National du Louvre

The Louvre houses one of the most extensive collections in the world. Offers seven basic categories, which include Old Master paintings and magnificent antiquities from the Orient, Greece and Egypt. 

Musée de l’Orangerie

A fabulous concentration of masterpieces. A highly original insight into modern art, featuring Cézanne, Renoir, Picasso, Rousseau, Matisse, Derain, and others.

Musée d’Orsay

The National Museum of 19th century art, housed in a stunning converted railway station. There are many curriculum relevant starting points housed here, including the outdoor scenes of Impressionists such as Renoir, Sisley, Pissaro, Monet, Munch and Klimt and the architectural models of Frank Lloyd Wright. New spaces now accommodate ever more masterpieces. There is a renovated Impressionist gallery, a new temporary exhibition hall, and the opening of five floors entirely dedicated to the decorative arts. 

Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris

Paintings from the 1980s to the current day are put into perspective. The historical section allows visitors to gain a new understanding of the major modern movements: Fauvism, Cubism, First Abstractions, 1920s and 1930s Decorative Arts, Surrealism, Paris School and Masters of Independent Art, 1930s Figuration and New Realism.

 

Musée National Rodin

Work of Auguste Rodin displayed in the artist’s beautiful house and gardens. For those studying 3D, Rodin’s works can be studied in context in the gardens where the sheer strength of outsized hands and feet can be contrasted to other works of a more delicate and flowing quality.

Maison Européenne de la Photographie

Situated in the historic heart of Paris, this museum is dedicated to contemporary creation. This vast exhibition space dedicated to contemporary photography contains over 12,000 images that reflect the journey of contemporary photography from the 1960s to the present day.

Le Musée National Picasso

The Musée Picasso Paris is housed in the heart of historic Paris, is the world’s largest public collection of Pablo Picasso’s work. The museographic exhibition, which covers the entire space, presents nearly 400 masterpieces from the collection. It has been thought out to develop a new outlook on Picasso’s work. Organised both chronologically and thematically, the artist’s paintings, sculptures, drawings, collages and constructions trace his entire career from 1895 to 1972.

Musée de la Mode et du Textile

An exceptional fashion collection rivalling the largest museums in the world. The Musée de la Mode et du Textile, part of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, is a museum of fashion and textiles. A total of over 81,000 works trace the history of costume from the Regency period to the present-day and innovations in textiles since the 7th century. Together, the museums’ works represent the history of costume and textiles, as well as interior design, furniture, objets d'arts, wallpaper, tapestry, ceramic art, glassware, and toys.

 

Impressionist Painting Class

Study the art of Impressionism with a French painting instructor and learn about famous French artists such as Monet, Manet, Renoir and Cézanne. Students will even get to take home the painting that they created. A truly hands-on experience!

Artist Workshop

Learn about art and famous French artists such as Delacroix, Monet and Degas, plus meet some contemporary artists painting in their workshops to bring the art and design world to life.

Arc de Triomphe

Enjoy the views down the Champs-Élysées from one of the most famous monuments in Paris. The monument honours those who fought and died in the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars and students can admire the intricate designs that cover the outside of the structure.

Montmartre & Sacré Coeur

Montmartre provides an opportunity for students to practise their language skills with its many street stalls and street artists, shops and cafés. Once a meeting place for artists in the late 19th and early 20th century, your group can also view artists painting portraits and caricatures for the tourists and enjoy a spectacular view of Paris from the steps of the Sacré Coeur.

Château Versailles

The scene for several historic events, including the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, provides your students with an excellent opportunity to view the magnificent architecture of the Château before exploring the impressive 250-acre gardens. The Château also hosts numerous temporary art exhibitions.

Eiffel Tower

Paris’ best-known monument has outstanding city views, which on a clear day can stretch for 42 miles, giving the chance to pinpoint many landmarks. 

Paris Montparnasse – Top of the City

This 196m tower has shorter queues than the Eiffel Tower and a fabulous view of Paris. The viewpoint tables clearly mark the city’s many famous monuments. There are also a number of audio-visual and interactive facilities to help build language skills and enhance their knowledge of Paris, as well as downloadable quizzes in English and French. 

Aquaboulevard Water Park

A large indoor aquatic park with wave pools, slides and a wide range of other leisure facilities. 

Disneyland® Paris

Both Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park provide a great environment for your students to work together, bond as a group and challenge their personal boundaries on their school trip to Disneyland Paris.

Disneyland® Park 
Explore five themed lands filled with Disney classic stories: adrenalin packed thrill rides such as Big Thunder Mountain, Disney classics like Pirates of the Caribbean and Dumbo the Flying Elephant and many opportunities to meet your favourite Disney characters. 

Walt Disney Studios® Park
Step through the Studio gates and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of movies, animation and television. Find out how Disney creates the magic and feel what it’s like to be star of stage and screen.

 

Musée Gourmand du Chocolat - Choco Story

Discover chocolate’s 4,000 years of history, and modern methods of making it too, then try some of the delicious products.

Le Stade de France

Take your students behind-the-scenes of France’s premier stadium. Take a tour, in French or English, of the players’ tunnel, changing rooms, security facilities, pitch and photo museum. 

Parc Astérix

This typically French theme park is home to over 30 outside attractions, all based around the famous Astérix comic-strips. Parc Astérix is especially well known for its large variety of roller coasters, and incorporates rides and themes from historic ancient cultures such as the Romans and the Gauls. 

Parc Astérix also offers live shows and entertainment, animated figures, arts and crafts, reconstructions, a dolphin show, special effects, restaurants and shops. This is a great opportunity for students to interact at this French theme park.

Centre Pompidou

Closing Summer 2025 until 2030

 

A must for students, the dramatic architecture of the museum holds a unique collection of 20th century art covering the principal movements. Study services include gallery tours and audio guided tours.

Theatre in Paris - French play with English subtitles

Take a step inside a traditional Parisian theatre and spend an evening amongst the locals, at a French play with English subtitles. In the heart of Paris, see a play from one of a variety of genres; enjoy a classic love story, a modern French comedy or some musical theatre, all without missing a single word! From September 2018 - June 2019 groups can see Chicago Le Musical at Theatre Mogador.

Street Art Walking Tour

Explore a different side to Paris’ famous art scene, peeling away the layers of conventional art in the city and discover its edgy, underground art scene on a guided street art walking tour! Taking place in 13th district, students will experience an ‘outdoor museum’ with works from artists from around the world including Obey, Seth, Inti, Vihls, D-Face and C215. See murals, street tags and graffiti and get an insight into this fascinating world of art - exploring different styles and learning about its history.
