Cité des Sciences (Science City)

The largest science museum in Europe, the Science City is packed with exhibits exploring man’s experiences with science and maths. Students can explore the varied and interactive exhibitions in Explora to discover more about themes such as light, sounds, genes and movement. Watch daily demonstrations and explore the universe with the planetarium, presented by astronomy specialists.

The museum also has a hands-on maths exhibition which includes a special section on the geometry of shapes, transformation of geometry and Euclidean geometry, in addition to new theories of mathematics. Download the dedicated maths resources from the Cité des Sciences website to enhance your tour.

Louvre Museum

A great place for students to bring maths to life in a setting where they may otherwise not have thought to look for it. Using our Maths Explorer learning resources, set your students tasks which will enable them to think differently about surface area, volume, symmetry and proportion. Use the Louvre’s Pyramid to look at volumes and patterns, then move on to the Mona Lisa and use maths to discover why this painting is considered to be so beautiful.

Disneyland® Paris

Both Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park provide a great environment for your students to work together, bond as a class and challenge their personal boundaries on a Disneyland Paris school trip.

Disneyland® Park
Explore five themed lands filled with Disney classic stories: adrenalin packed thrill rides such as Big Thunder Mountain, Disney classics like Pirates of the Caribbean and Dumbo the Flying Elephant and many opportunities to meet your favourite Disney characters.

Walt Disney Studios® Park
Step through the Studio gates and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of movies, animation and television. Find out how Disney creates the magic and feel what it’s like to be star of stage and screen.

For maths groups, you can also use our Maths Explorer learning resources to get the very most from your visit!

Parisian Architecture

For those groups interested in studying the architecture of the city, why not take an Architecture Tour of Paris? Travelling by coach, students can discover the main monuments of Paris such as the Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower and find out about the architectural aspect of these significant structures as well as more modern buildings such as the Louvre Glass Pyramid, Pompidou Modern Art Museum and the Defense Arc.

Or, why not visit the Cité de l’Architecture Museum? Located opposite the Eiffel Tower, this museum invites visitors on a real journey among the treasures of French architecture. The Cité de  l’Architecture et du Patrimoine gallery contains models of the most remarkable buildings of France’s last two centuries, presented in an easily accessible way to students. Look out for their fantastic online resources.

Paris Montparnasse – Top of the City

This 196m tower has shorter queues than the Eiffel Tower and a fabulous view of Paris. The viewpoint tables clearly mark the city’s many famous monuments. There are also a number of audio-visual and interactive facilities to help build language skills and enhance their knowledge of Paris, as well as downloadable quizzes in English and French.

Use our Maths Resources from Paris Montparnasse – Top of the City to add an interactive mathematical element to the visit and encourage them to see the mathematics of the tower.

Seine River Boat Cruise

An enjoyable river cruise is a relaxing way to see the sights of Paris. Students also learn from the French (or English) commentary on their headsets.

Montmartre & Sacré Coeur

Montmartre provides an opportunity for students to practise their language skills with its many street stalls and street artists, shops and cafés. Once a meeting place for artists in the late 19th and early 20th century, your group can also view artists painting portraits and caricatures for the tourists and enjoy a spectacular view of Paris from the steps of the Sacré Coeur.

Le Stade de France

Take your students behind-the-scenes of France’s premier stadium. Take a tour, in French or English, of the players’ tunnel, changing rooms, security facilities, pitch and photo museum.

Centre Pompidou

Closing Summer 2025 until 2030

Take a tour of this art gallery, the design of which is a proud example of modern French architecture. Outside, the square houses street artists, musicians and performers, and the nearby Stravinsky Fountain is an added bonus.

Eiffel Tower

Paris’ best-known monument has outstanding city views, which on a clear day can stretch for 42 miles, giving the chance to pinpoint many landmarks.

Notre Dame Cathedral

After 5 years of restoration, this stunning cathedral is reopening it's doors following the devistating fire in 2019. This stunning cathedral, like all medieval churches, was painted on the inside so a largely illiterate population could learn the Bible stories. The use of colour was meant to glorify God and breathe life into the scriptures. This stunning and imposing building is a must-see of Paris, particularly as the cathedral has witnessed many important ceremonies for Christianity and the history of nations.

Fragonard Perfumery

Take a free guided tour in your choice of French or English and visit the museum and shop where you’ll find a wide range of fragrant products.

Guided Tour of Paris

A tailor-made coach tour of Paris that includes a dedicated French or English-speaking guide, who will help with pronunciation and knowledge of the many sights of Paris. One of our groups’ favourites is the evening tour of the Paris Illuminations. We can arrange walking tours too.

Musée Gourmand du Chocolat - Choco Story

Discover chocolate’s 4,000 years of history, and modern methods of making it too, then try some of the delicious products.

Parc Astérix

This typically French theme park is home to over 30 outside attractions, all based around the famous Astérix comic-strips. Parc Astérix is especially well known for its large variety of roller coasters, and incorporates rides and themes from historic ancient cultures such as the Romans and the Gauls.

Parc Astérix also offers live shows and entertainment, animated figures, arts and crafts, reconstructions, a dolphin show, special effects, restaurants and shops. This is a great opportunity for students to interact at this French theme park.

Theatre in Paris - French play with English subtitles

Take a step inside a traditional Parisian theatre and spend an evening amongst the locals, at a French play with English subtitles. In the heart of Paris, see a play from one of a variety of genres; enjoy a classic love story, a modern French comedy or some musical theatre, all without missing a single word! From September 2018 - June 2019 groups can see Chicago Le Musical at Theatre Mogador.
