Galleria dell Accademia

The finest of many art collections in Venice. The Accademia hosts the most important collection of paintings of the Venetian school. Masterpieces by Bellini, Giorgione, Tintoretto and Titian grace the walls, as do the timeless Venetian views by Canaletto. It seems so appropriate to go outside to trace the locations he worked from.

Peggy Guggenheim Collection

An impressive, small museum on the Grand Canal. The permanent collection is a wonderful insight into modernist development at the beginning of the 20th century. Worth seeing are the Cubist pieces by Picasso, Dalí, Ernst and Magritte. Don’t miss the beautiful Boccioni painting ‘Materia’ (1912), a highlight of the futurist movement. 

St Mark's Square 

The largest square in the city, Piazza San Marco is the heart of venice home to important government buildings which are central to the history of Venice. 

St Mark’s Basilica

Described as the most exotic of Europe’s cathedrals this monument is made unique by both its wealth of history and the magnificence of its façade and interior. In essence, it is a splendid workshop, where, through the centuries, worked great Italian and European artists.

Mask Workshop

Learn about the use of the mask in Venice during past centuries and then have the opportunity to produce your own papier-mâché ‘Volto’ mask.

Venice Churches

Ideal for music tours, almost every church in Venice is a potential venue for a choir with a sacred programme. Choirs may perform a full concert or participate in a church service.

Gondola Tour 

Take a 30 minute ride through the city’s canals on an iconic gondola for a leisurely ride along the Grand Canal and some of the smaller canals. Explore the famous sites and hidden charms of Venice.

We’ll support you and provide everything you need to advertise your school trip around school and to parents. Our free school trip promotion pack consists of:

• Parents’ letter & permission slip template for you to complete
• A3 posters to promote your trip around school
• PowerPoint presentation templates which you can tailor to your own needs
• Parents’ leaflets covering how NST manage safety, financial protection and details of our travel insurance
• Online parents’ video which showcases the benefits of taking a school trip

For selected destinations, we’ll provide a trip launch web page using video footage and imagery. This web page is provided by a weblink and can be shared with pupils and parents in many ways.

Get live updates on your group's tour location
